The Antibiotic That Gets to the Infection Site
In clinical trials, loose stools and vomiting have been observed. As with all drugs, the use of LINCOCIN products is contraindicated in animals previously found to be hypersensitive to the drug.
Indications
For infections caused by gram-positive organisms, particularly streptococci and staphylococci. Effective in most of the common upper respiratory infections, septicemia, and infections of the skin and adjoining tissues. Systemic therapy has been shown to benefit animals with pustular dermatitis.
In cats, LINCOCIN® Sterile Solution has demonstrated effectiveness in the treatment of localized
infections, such as abscesses following fight wounds, pneumonitis and feline rhinotracheitis. It is also useful for the treatment of secondary bacterial invaders in conjunction with viral diseases.
