The Antibiotic That Gets to the Infection Site
Indications
For infections caused by gram-positive organisms, particularly streptococci and staphylococci. Effective in most of the common upper respiratory infections, septicemia and infections of the skin and adjoining tissues. Systemic therapy has been shown to benefit animals with pustular dermatitis.
In dogs, LINCOCIN® (lincomycin hydrochloride) has demonstrated effectiveness in the treatment of upper respiratory infections and skin diseases, particularly those caused by Staphylococcus and Streptococcus organisms. LINCOCIN has demonstrated efficacy even in some chronic conditions and infections resistant to treatment with other antibacterial agents.
Infections successfully treated with LINCOCIN include pustular dermatitis, abscesses, infected wounds (including bite and fight wounds), tonsillitis, laryngitis, metritis, and secondary bacterial infections associated with the canine distemper-hepatitis complex.
